Sri Subramaniar Temple, Batu Caves

Sri Subramaniar Temple or famously known as Batu Caves sits majestically about 13 km from downtown Kuala Lumpur. This 116 years old main temple, dedicated to Lord Murugan is lodged in a cave about 400 feet above ground level. Batu Caves is a set of caverns in the limestone rock hill which is recognized as one of Malaysia’s national treasuries in 2007. It is one of the holiest Hindu shrines in Malaysia and is also one of Malaysia’s most popular tourist attractions.
